Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky Airing on Discovery Channel
Season 3 Episodes of Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky will now be airing Saturday mornings at 5:30 A.M. on Discovery Channel throughout July 2023.

Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky explores the wildly productive New Jersey and Northeast backwater bays, surf and ocean fishing grounds. From bluefin tuna to striped bass and blackfish, all target species are interwoven into a fun-loving, exciting and informative salty story along with showcasing savory fish recipes to take home to the dinner table.
“For 25 years, I’ve been a professional sport fishing writer and editor, fishing in over 50 countries, yet my home waters in Jersey are lit up with opportunity. Jersey definitely has a raw cast of characters,” states Honachefsky. “Not many people automatically think of New Jersey and the Northeast US when it comes to the best fishing in the US, and I’m set out to shine a light on the world class fishing here, along with a few laughs from some real characters on the way. Wait until you see what we have in store.”
Special celebrity guest anglers this season include legendary rock star frontman guitarist Dean Ween of the band Ween, pro skateboarders Mike McGill and Bucky Lasek, along with professional chef Josh Dechellis along with many other relatable characters weaving a story that will leave you inspired to hit the water.
