First Look: Pursuit Debuts New OS 405

For over a dozen years, Pursuit’s OS 385 was one of their most popular hulls, with a family friendly layout, solid ride, and ample fishing functionality. When it came time to replace it, the design team at Pursuit made sure to raise the bar. They went bigger—all the way to 43 feet—and gave it a slightly more aggressive hull. They upgraded the styling, and added more luxurious finishes.

The result is the all-new OS 405, which makes its official debut at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale Boat show. It’s sure to be a new favorite for fishing-first family boaters who want to do it all—from inshore striper fishing to overnight (or longer) trips to the canyons.
 

Pursuit’s Offshore Series

Ranging from 32 feet to 46 feet with twin and triple outboard engine options, Pursuit’s Offshore Boat Series provides true live-aboard space while also offering amenities for cruising, entertaining and fishing. The elegant yacht-like exteriors pair with well-appointed cabins finished in interior hardwoods and modern fabrics, equipping you for many overnight stays in your private cove or harbor. Like all Pursuits, the Offshore Boat Series is ready to fish with plenty of rod holders, livewells, fishboxes and tackle storage.

You’ll notice a sense of luxury starting on the bridgedeck, behind the large single-piece windshield, where you and your companion ride in style on Stidd seating. The dash holds gorgeous dual 22-inch Garmin Multi-Function Displays, and standard Yamaha joystick steering on the dash controls triple Yamaha 450 XTO engines.

The wide-open cockpit lets you unleash your fishing potential whether you’re lifting fluke and sea bass ove the side or pulling yellowfin tuna through the hullside door. A Seakeeper 6 stabilizer keeps things comfortable while relaxing on the plush foredeck under the Mediterranean sunshade.

Not only is it spacious above and below deck, with a mid-cabin room for guests and an island-style forward berth, the conversion-free entertainment areas mean no one needs to give up their seat to enjoy the finer aspects of boating life.
