Walleye fishing is hot right now from the Ohio state line all the way to the New York state line.
While the bass bite has slowed in many water bodies due in part to low water and high temperatures, striper fishing has been very good of late on Lake Wallenpaupack.
Walleye and largemouth bass are hitting on a wide variety of baits.
Anglers are catching smallmouth bass on crankbaits and jerkbaits in fast-moving water during early mornings and late evenings.
Despite the lack of rain and the low water levels, smallmouth bass fishing has been good.
Although warmer water temperatures are driving the fish into deeper waters, striped bass and smallmouth action have been good.
Walleye action has been good during the evening hours and panfish activity remains strong in most cove areas.
The walleye bite is going strong.
With the warmer water temperatures, most fish species are moving into deeper waters.
