Big bass and blues continue to blitz along the North Shore, while further south in Buzzards Bay, the tautog bite continues to heat up with anglers easily limiting out with some larger fish in the mix.

While it’s looking like last hurrah for striped bass, groundfishing remains good with a nice mixture of species.
While big bluefish are being found out front along the South Shore, false albacore are being caught amongst the Three Bays, and Boston’s inner harbor is bubbling with blues, bass, blackfish and big bergalls.
The cod bite has been joined by pollock and haddock, while inshore, mackerel schools have moved in close again putting migrating stripers within easy reach.
Striped bass are blitzing throughout the Boston area, while in Buzzards Bay, false albacore are carving up bait from above and tautog are making short work of crabs from below.
Rivers are flush with bait and bass, while offshore, tuna are still on a tear and Jeffrey’s ledge is producing good numbers of groundfish and some impressive cod.
Bass and blues are in binge mode and can be found wherever pogies are schooled up.
Cod fever continues with good action at Jeffrey’s Ledge, while tuna are being found regularly feasting on sea herring around Scantum.
Strong striped bass and bluefish blitzes are being fueled by both adult and peanut bunker, cod action has been strong, and fluke season is going out with a bang.
Big bass up to 50 inches are smashing herring along area beaches, while bottom fishing around Jeffrey’s Ledge has been producing haddock, hake, pollock and cod.
